Our Mission
Blankets and Hugs creates one-of-a-kind handmade blankets for children and young adults undergoing treatment for serious illnesses. Blankets and Hugs was founded by lifelong child Holocaust survivor and lifelong crafter Leah Silber, who designs, creates, and donates beautiful handmade blankets to children undergoing treatment for life-threatening medical conditions.
Lion Brand Yarn donated the gorgeous yarn seen in all images below and in the current line-up of blankets in production.
Blankets and Hugs also produces bespoke blankets (none of the yarn used for those is donated). For every blanket ordered, one will be donated in honor of you or a loved one.
Blankets and Hugs is part of the 501(c)(3) RWR Network. All donations are tax deductible.
